Digital work now mixes people and AI. Softqora makes that mix visible so buyers can choose it on purpose. This policy sets out what the labels mean and what sellers promise when they use them. It is part of the Terms of Service and the Seller Agreement.
1. The four work-mode labels
| Label | What it means | Typical fit |
|---|---|---|
| Human Built | A person does the work. Any AI tooling is limited to routine editor assistance (such as spell check or autocomplete) and does not produce deliverables. | Brand, strategy, original creative work, where judgment and taste are the product |
| AI Assisted | A person leads and is accountable for the result. AI speeds up drafts, boilerplate or research, and the seller reviews everything before delivery. | Development, writing, research, design where speed matters and a person stays accountable |
| AI Generated + Human Verified | AI produces the first version of the deliverable; a named human reviews it against the brief and signs off. The review is part of the product. | High-volume or repeatable output where a person checks quality |
| Automated | Delivery is produced by software or an agent with little or no human involvement per order. | Templates, APIs, automations, agents, tools |
Every listing and every delivery carries one label. A listing can offer several tiers, each with its own label.
2. What sellers must do
- Choose the label that describes how the work is actually produced, not the label that sells best.
- Review AI output yourself before delivery if you use AI Assisted or AI Generated + Human Verified. "Reviewed" means a person read, tested and corrected it against the brief, not that the output was glanced at.
- Name the human reviewer on AI Generated + Human Verified work.
- Tell the buyer, if asked, which tools or models were used and for which parts of the work.
- Update the label when your process changes, before accepting new orders.
- Do not pass off AI-generated material as the work of a named real person, or as a human portfolio piece.
3. What buyers can expect
A label is a statement by the seller about how the work was made, backed by the rules above. It is not a guarantee of quality. Softqora Verify's "AI-Assisted Work Disclosure" check, when a seller has passed it, shows that Softqora has examined how that seller works against what they state. A check that has not run is not shown.
4. Mislabelling
If a label is found to be wrong, whether through a buyer's dispute, a Verify check or our own review, we may: correct the label, hide the listing until it is fixed, refund the affected order under the Dispute Resolution Policy, reduce ranking, remove verification marks, or suspend the seller. Deliberate or repeated mislabelling can lead to account closure.
5. AI on the Platform itself
Softqora also uses AI in features such as AI Project Match, proposal assistance and recommendations. Output is generated automatically and may be wrong. We say where a result was produced by AI. Decisions about accounts, listings or disputes are made or reviewed by a person. See the Privacy Policy for how data is used in these features.
6. Legal status of AI-generated work
Rights in AI-generated material differ between countries and are still being developed by courts and legislators. Sellers must say in the order what rights the buyer receives, and must not promise exclusivity or copyright they cannot give. Buyers who need certainty about rights should ask for it in writing before ordering.
