Softqora respects intellectual property and expects users to do the same. If you believe content on the Platform (a listing, portfolio item, deliverable preview, profile or message) infringes your copyright, trademark or another right, you can report it using this process. We act on complete, good-faith notices, following UAE law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyright and Neighbouring Rights, and we also accept notices written in the form used under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
1. How to submit a notice
Email support@softqora.dev with the subject "IP complaint" and include:
- your name, address, email address and telephone number;
- a description of the work or mark you own and, where possible, proof of ownership (registration number, publication link, dated original file);
- the exact link (URL) to each item you say infringes, and a description of where it appears;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury or the equivalent under applicable law, that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner;
- your physical or electronic signature.
An incomplete notice may delay action. Do not send a notice unless you are confident in it. Knowingly false notices can lead to liability for damages and costs.
2. What we do
When we receive a complete notice we may remove or disable access to the content promptly, tell the user who posted it that we did so and why, and give them your notice (which may include your contact details). Repeat infringers will have their accounts suspended or closed.
3. Counter-notice
If you believe content was removed by mistake or that you have permission or a legal right to use it, you can reply to support@softqora.dev with:
- your name, address, email address and telephone number;
- the link to the content that was removed, as it appeared before removal;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the content was removed because of a mistake or misidentification;
- your agreement to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, for any resulting claim;
- your signature.
We will pass the counter-notice to the complainant. If the complainant does not tell us within 10 business days that they have started legal proceedings, we may restore the content.
4. Trademark complaints
For a trademark complaint include your registration details, the goods or services it covers, and a clear explanation of why the item is likely to confuse people or dilute your mark. We do not decide ownership disputes between rights holders; we act on clear cases and ask the parties to resolve contested ones between themselves.
5. AI-generated content
Complaints about AI-generated material are handled the same way. If you believe a deliverable reproduces your work, identify the original and the matching portion in your notice.
6. Other legal complaints
For defamation, privacy or other unlawful content, write to support@softqora.dev with the links and the legal basis of your complaint. We will review it under the Acceptable Use Policy and applicable law.
