These terms explain how money moves on Softqora. They take effect when billing and payments are switched on. Until then, nothing can be charged and prices on the Platform marked "planned" are not offers. These terms are part of the Terms of Service.
1. Who handles the money
Card and bank payments are handled by a regulated third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers. By paying or receiving payouts you agree to the processor's terms in addition to ours. We will name the processor before payments go live and may change it with notice.
2. Prices and currency
Prices are shown before you confirm a purchase and include any fee or tax we are required to show. Unless stated otherwise, prices are in US dollars. If your bank converts currency, its rate and charges apply.
3. Plans and subscriptions
Plans such as Buyer Pro, Seller Pro and Business plans renew automatically each period until you cancel in your account settings. The price and renewal date are shown when you subscribe and in your account. We will tell you before a price change takes effect, and you can cancel before it does. Free trials, when offered, state the length and the price that applies afterwards.
4. Transaction fees
Sellers pay a transaction fee on completed sales. The rate depends on the seller's plan and is published on the Pricing page at the time of the sale. The fee is deducted from the seller's proceeds. Buyers see the amount they pay, including any buyer-side service fee, before checkout. Fees already charged on a completed order are not changed by a later change to the published rates.
5. Payment holding and release
For service orders, we hold the buyer's payment for each milestone until the buyer approves that milestone. Then the seller's proceeds, after fees, are released to the seller's payout method subject to payout timing of the payment processor. For digital products, payment is released after the refund window in the Refund and Cancellation Policy unless the seller's plan shortens it.
We may hold or delay a payout where there is a dispute, a suspected breach of our rules, fraud, a legal request, or incomplete identity or tax information, and only for as long as needed to resolve it.
6. Payouts
Sellers must provide valid payout details and any identity and tax information we reasonably require. Payout timing and minimum thresholds are shown in the seller dashboard. Fees charged by the payment processor or bank for payouts may be passed on and will be shown before you request a payout.
7. Taxes
Prices and payouts may be subject to tax, including value-added tax. Where we must collect and remit tax, it is added at checkout. Sellers are responsible for their own taxes on their income unless the law makes us responsible.
8. Failed or reversed payments
If a payment fails, we may pause the order or subscription until it is paid. If a payment is reversed through a chargeback, we may recover the amount, and any fees, from the seller's balance or future payouts if the reversal relates to their order, and may suspend accounts that abuse chargebacks.
9. Refunds and disputes
Refunds follow the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Order disputes follow the Dispute Resolution Policy.
10. Disputed charges on your statement
If you do not recognise a charge, contact support@softqora.dev before contacting your bank, so we can check it quickly. Charges from us appear under the Operator's name or "Softqora".
11. Compliance
We may refuse, hold or reverse a transaction to meet anti-money-laundering, sanctions or other legal requirements, and may ask you to verify your identity. We do not process payments connected to sanctioned persons or regions.
