Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as session storage and local storage, do the same job. This policy says what Softqora ("we", "us") stores on softqora.dev today. It supplements our Privacy Policy. Softqora is pre-launch, so the list is short, and we will update this page before it grows.
1. What the Platform stores today
| Name | Where | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
sq_visit | Browser session storage | Marks that a visit has already been counted, so we record one anonymous "visitor" event per browser session instead of one per page | Until you close the tab or window |
We do not currently set advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies. We do not currently use cookies to sign you in, because accounts are not yet switched on.
2. Anonymous usage events
The Platform records a small number of first-party events, such as a page being opened or a tool being used. Each event holds the event name, the page path and a few simple properties. It is not linked to a name, an email address or an advertising identifier. The events are used to see which parts of the Platform work and to fix problems, and are kept in short-lived server memory for an internal dashboard.
3. What will change
When we switch on accounts, payments, or third-party analytics, we expect to add cookies or similar storage for things such as keeping you signed in, protecting forms, and measuring usage. Before that happens we will list each one here, with its provider, purpose and lifetime. Where the law requires consent for non-essential storage, we will ask for it before it is set, and we will provide a way to change your choice later.
4. Your controls
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings; instructions are on your browser's help pages. Blocking session storage does not stop the Platform working: the visit marker is optional. If you block cookies that are strictly necessary once sign-in exists, parts of the Platform such as signing in will stop working.
5. Third-party content
Some pages may link to or embed content from other sites, such as a seller's portfolio. Those sites have their own cookie practices that we do not control.
